NWID Services/Products

1. General Design Consultations by the hour - Evaluating specifics such as color, paint choices, furnishing recommendations.  This will sometimes require search time by NWID designers, which is billed accordingly; however, you as our client will be advised of required time in advance.  All hours, including initial visit are billable.  See How It All Works for rates.

2. 3-Dimensional Design - Designing entire space to include color, wall treatment, floor treatment, lighting, furniture, cabinetry (if needed), materials, accessories, window treatments, etc.  Space is rendered to scale and presentation board is provided with several 3-dimensional perspectives of the space. You will be able to visualize the entire space from every angle.  Fabric swatches, color chips and pictures of recommended furniture pieces along with other elements of the room will be shown.  NWID will initially come out and review your objectives for the space, then (within days) provide an estimate of the presentation, based on the scope of the project.  Following your approval of estimate, you will provide 50% of the estimate as retainer.  NWID will (within days) measure and photograph the space.  The Presentation takes place after a period of weeks (again, determined by the scope of the project), usually 4-8 weeks.  Following presentation, you own the design and you decide how to execute the design project: whether NWID and their subcontractors do the work, or your own resources.  Note: NWID has enough experience that the estimates are almost always 100% accurate!

3. Floor Plan - Designing space for furnishings placement to include all elements listed in 3-Dimensional Design, with the exception of visual perspectives of the space.  A presentation board will be provided with wall, window and ceiling treatments as well as furniture, color chips, fabrics, rugs and all necessary elements.  These will be shown in pictures, along with the floor plan, which is limited to an overhead view.  As above, NWID will initially come out and evaluate your objectives for the space, then provide you with an estimate of the hours needed to create your design board presentation, based on the scope of the project.  Following your approval of estimate, you will provide 50% of the estimate as retainer.  NWID will measure and photograph the space.  Presentation takes place after a period of weeks (again, determined by the scope of the project), usually 2-4 weeks.  Following presentation, you own the design and you decide how to execute the design project: whether NWID and their subcontractors do the work, or your own resources.  Note: NWID has enough experience that the estimates are almost always 100% accurate!

4. Staging - This is done on an hourly basis.   NWID will come out and view the areas of your home in need of help.   Within days, an estimate of design hours necessary to provide ideas and recommendations will be provided.  Following your approval of estimate, you will provide 50% as retainer.  NWID will photograph the spaces and begin work.  If hours included in estimate become close to being spent, you will be notified.  You will then determines whether more hours are necessary to proceed with additional ideas.  Any subcontracting work done by NWID; for example:  painting, window treatments, accessories, shopping, purchasing of furniture, carpentry, rearranging, etc. are separate services and estimates will always be provided prior to beginning work.
